Statement of Sen. Warner on Comments Quoted in Jeffrey Goldberg's Article in The Atlantic on U.S.-Israel Relations

Oct 29 2014

U.S. Sen. Mark R. Warner issued the following comment in response to Jeffery Goldberg's  article in The Atlantic on the current state of U-S-Israeli relations:

"We need to lower the volume on this type of unproductive rhetoric. It clearly was inappropriate for a White House aide to use this disparaging language to describe our strongest and closest ally in the region during this fragile period."
