Monday night's game between #10 Virginia Tech and #3 Boise State is widely considered the strongest opening week college football contest in the country this Labor Day weekend. Senator Warner and his Republican colleague Jim Risch of idaho have made a friendly, bipartisan wager on the outcome of the game.
The Senate will act on legislation to help small businesses as soon as they return from the August recess, and the challenges facing Central Virginia's small business owners were front and center as Senator Warner met with about 25 business owners today at Inklings Bookshop in Lynchburg.
