Statement of U.S. Sen. Warner on Today's 18-4 Vote on Iran Sanctions by the Banking Committee

Jan 29 2015

"I voted to move this bill out of committee, but I will not support a Senate floor vote on any new sanctions prior to the Administration’s March deadline for achieving a political framework for a deal.

I believe we need to give our negotiators space and time to achieve a comprehensive agreement, because we cannot allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon."
