VA releases report on challenges facing women veterans

The Department of Veterans Affairs has released a report on their strategies to address issues unique to female military veterans. 

The report builds on Senator Warner’s efforts to confront concerns that the VA did not adequately address the effects of combat stress on female veterans. 

Those efforts which resulted in a significant policy change at the VA that ensures women veterans are properly evaluated for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and other combat stress.
