Health Care

Senator Warner is working hard to lower costs and expand access to quality health care for all Virginians. An early champion of the Affordable Care Act, Senator Warner has continuously worked to protect and strengthen the law and make sure more Americans are able to afford health insurance. He also works to address some of the specific barriers that rural areas across the Commonwealth face in accessing care, and has fought tirelessly to expand access to telehealth, protect rural hospitals and clinics, and defend Medicaid. Sen. Warner believes that there’s still a long way to go to improve our health care system, and that we need to move towards a universal coverage model so that we can stop arguing about who deserves coverage, and focus on lowering costs for all.
