U.S. Sen. Mark R. Warner released the following statement condemning the recent terrorists attacks against India at the Pathankot military base in India and India’s consulate in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan:
“I condemn the horrific terrorist attacks against India at the Pathankot military base in India and India’s consulate in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. These acts are likely designed, in part, to undermine any potential peace initiative that could be sparked by Prime Minister Modi’s recent visit to Pakistan to meet with Prime Minister Sharif. I hope the terrorists will be brought to justice.”
