FY27 Congressionally Directed Spending

Thank you for your interest in the Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) appropriations and congressionally directed spending (CDS) process. Senator Warner’s application for requests closed on March 23, 2026. All of Senator Warner’s FY27 congressionally directed spending requests will be posted below by May 19, 2026. Submission of a request does not guarantee funding.

Congressionally directed spending requests must adhere to the existing requirements in Rule XLIV of the Standing Rules of the Senate and to additional reforms instituted by the Senate Appropriations Committee. In FY26, the Senate Appropriations Committee announced new limits to the number of projects a Senator may submit. More information on the congressionally directed spending process can be found here.
